wdid.gg beta terms

wdid.gg is in a closed beta. These terms say what you get, what we ask of you and what we record while you use it. They are short on purpose.

By ticking the box, you accept them.

What wdid.gg is

wdid.gg reads your Counter-Strike 2 matches and shows you what happened in the rounds where you died, with coaching written for each moment. It is a tool for looking at your own play.

Who can use it during the beta

You need an invite code, a Steam account and to be at least 16 years old.

The beta is free. There is nothing to pay and nothing to cancel.

What we record while you use the beta

This is the part most terms bury, so it is here in the middle where it is hard to miss.

While you use wdid.gg, the service records:

• which pages you open and how long you stay on them,
• which buttons and controls you use,
• when a session starts and ends,
• which matches, rounds, deaths and coaching cards you open,
• the size of your browser window, which browser it is and which version of the site you are running,
• errors the site hits while you are using it.

Why: the beta exists to find out what is broken and what nobody uses. Ten people clicking around teach us more than ten people being asked how it went.

What is not recorded: anything you type, the words of any error message, and anything about you beyond the account you signed in with. The records are never sold and never shared with anyone outside the people running wdid.gg.

You can switch this off at any time under Account, and it stops immediately. Everything else keeps working.

The records are kept for 90 days and then deleted.

What we ask of you

Use wdid.gg for your own matches and your own learning. Do not try to break it, overload it or use it to work out things about other players that you would not want worked out about you.

The demo view shows another player's matches with permission. Treat what you see there the way you would want yours treated.

What you can expect, and what you cannot

This is beta software. It will have bugs. It may be down when you want it. Analysis may be wrong, late or missing. Your matches, your coaching and your account may be deleted without warning while things are being rebuilt, so do not treat wdid.gg as the only place something is stored.

wdid.gg is provided as it is, with no warranty and no promise that it will keep running.

Stopping

You can stop using wdid.gg at any time. Ask us to delete your account and we will delete it, along with the matches and coaching that belong to it.

We may end access to the beta for anyone, at any time, and we will say why.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, you will be asked to read and accept the new version before you carry on. Small corrections happen without asking.
